Well five years ago today(june 30th) we welcomed Saige McKenzie Smart to our lives, after an attempt at a version (turning the baby, she was breech) which was unsuccessful we ended up with a c-section, so she came into this world butt first and screaming. She weighed in at 6lbs 8oz. and 191/2 inches long. She was AMAZING, lots of dark hair, dark skin, PERFECT, and I can still remember people commenting on her beautiful heart lips, which she still has. She has such an amazing zest for life and lives by her own rules!! She will try almost anything and is not afraid to try and try again. In her five years she has been and done more than I had until I was married. She does take after her mother with being a little accident prone, she has broke both arms and her collar bone, all in different falls. She loves to be her Daddy's little girl and Hunt, Fish, Camp, Farming, Horse Riding anything with her Dad. Calvin always said he doesn't need a little boy he has Saige. We love her very much and are forever blessed to have her part of our family her little sisters love her more than anything, Addison loves to tag along with Saige and MOST of the time Saige is okay to let her. Cali loves Saige to entertain her and tickle her, they get the giggles, which is so cute. She loves animals especially her DOG HAGEN they are best buddies and have always been. He watches out for her and she watches out for him!!

Happy, Happy Birthday, Cute post. I remember her at your moms on the forth of July. You had just left the hospital. She was so beautiful, and still is. She looks so old in that last picture.

Her cheeks were the best cheeks ever. Gosh - it seriously seems like yesterday. It's funny to see them as babies and try to picture what they will look like when they are older - but she looks JUST the same!
Savannah misses her - come camping this weekend at the cabin.
P.S. You're husband ROCKS! He is on my roof at this very moment hammering on my shingles. It is soooo hot - what a trooper. Everyone needs a family member like him. It was not expected - I really want to say thanx!
