Haircuts.

In between dance we went to visit Brooke for a few haircuts. This was Cali first time but it made her look so much older, Saige and Addie just got a trim but they love to go because it is AUNT BROOKE!! Saige is always letting me know that I don't do her hair like Aunt Brooke does and not as good, a least she is HONEST right, because it is the truth, can't argue that one!!
Thanks Brooke they look great!!!

Here are a few before and after pics, not the best but with three kids and haircuts I am just glad I remembered. HA HA

Cali Before, Notice the sucker it was a bribe to hold still, and it worked pretty good.

After she would not look at me so here is the back. CUTE

Addison Before:

Addison after, yet again not a great picture but you can see the improvement.

Saige before:

Saige after, oops forgot to take one at the salon so check out her first day of dance that was right after.

When DADS away.....

The girls will play!!! Calvin went for the night with Zach hunting and we decided to have some fun. We went shopping, got a new movie and had a party in MOMS bed. They love to stay up late and hang out with MOM.

Just one thing we took this pic with the timer pretty good, HUH.
I would just have taken one of the girls but I realize more and more that I am in very few pictures. So I wanted my girls to remember that I did fun things too....not just Dad.

Park City Getaway.

We decided to head up to Park City this week for a little R&R before school started. We stayed at an awesome place and the kids had a great time. Calvin worked a little while me and the girls played at the pool. We did some shopping and rode the Alpine Slide which my girls loved. It is so much fun to spend time together and we all get along well most of the time. It was just the five of us, but Grandpa and Grandma Smart came and gave us a visit. Great to have them come say HI!!

This is where we spent the majority of our time, SWIMMING!!
Ready, set JUMP!!
Now Saige....JUMP!
SWIM to the stairs and start all over again, I think they did this about 50 times over and over again. OH the JOY of being LITTLE!

Weekend ADVENTURES!

This last weekend was Lindon Days so we went and cheered the Mayor on in the GRAND Parade. For those of you who don't know my dad is the Mayor of the GREAT city of LINDON!!! It is a sweet and short parade with LOT'S of candy so the kids had a great time. A few of the cousins were there to enjoy it with us.

Mayor JIM .......a.k.a GRANDPA

4-Wheeling!!

THEN...... We had this great plan to go 4-wheeling with Zach, Brooke and Hesston. We were going to take the three girls and try out the new seat in the Ranger. BAD BAD IDEA.... it RAINED and HAILED like I have never seen. It was a down pour, mud slides on the road everything it was a mess, so we waited it out for about 20 min. and like any good parents who would hate to tell our kids that we would have to wait.... ended up taking them anyway. It was OK...for about 10 miles then all HAIL broke loose, lightning and rain AGAIN, man who would have thought!! DUH. So at that point we headed back to the truck and in a hurry, hail was hitting us and Calvin and Brooke were soaked. Calvin was nice enough to give me his rain gear. Well we made it back and we all survived, and had a good laugh....after we were warm and dry.

Notice the water pouring out in the road

Before our adventure! We look a little redneck!!

After, COLD but still smiling.

Zach, Brooke and Hesston!! Brooke was soaked.
The crew on the way back, we made it. YEAH!!!

NOTE TO SELF: When the sky looks like this, don't head 4-wheeling.
