Weekend ADVENTURES!

This last weekend was Lindon Days so we went and cheered the Mayor on in the GRAND Parade. For those of you who don't know my dad is the Mayor of the GREAT city of LINDON!!! It is a sweet and short parade with LOT'S of candy so the kids had a great time. A few of the cousins were there to enjoy it with us.

4-Wheeling!!

THEN...... We had this great plan to go 4-wheeling with Zach, Brooke and Hesston. We were going to take the three girls and try out the new seat in the Ranger. BAD BAD IDEA.... it RAINED and HAILED like I have never seen. It was a down pour, mud slides on the road everything it was a mess, so we waited it out for about 20 min. and like any good parents who would hate to tell our kids that we would have to wait.... ended up taking them anyway. It was OK...for about 10 miles then all HAIL broke loose, lightning and rain AGAIN, man who would have thought!! DUH. So at that point we headed back to the truck and in a hurry, hail was hitting us and Calvin and Brooke were soaked. Calvin was nice enough to give me his rain gear. Well we made it back and we all survived, and had a good laugh....after we were warm and dry.
