About a month ago my Mom and Dad were planning a trip to go to LA and see a Dodgers game. Calvin has been wanting to go to a Major League game for years so...... when they asked if we wanted to go I decided to break down and take him, so we went along. We left early Friday morning and got to LA about 10:30. From the airport we went straight to Catalina Island, it is about a 1 hour boat ride we had a great time and it is an awesome little place. We spent the day walking around shopping, hanging out on the beach, coveting a few boats, EATING, and soaking up the sun!!! I would go back and stay on the Island next time. My camera lost all the pics (
operator error) from the Island but here are a few on the boat ride back.
Waiting to get on the boat, to head back to Long Beach:(
Riding the boat back!!

The next morning we decided to go tour the cruise ship The Queen Mary. It has quite the history of being a ship to transport soldiers during WWII. We had a great time, Calvin and I had never been on any cruise ship so we were fascinated.

A random wedding on the Queen Mary, I thought it was a little weird but whatever floats your BOAT. HAHA

We also toured a submarine that was there, talk about claustrophobia, pretty sure I have no desire to live under the sea.

After the tour of the queen Mary we headed back to our Hotel to relax before the BIG game. Then around 4:00 we headed into LA to Dodger stadium. We got there early so we could look around a buy a few souvenirs. It was amazing and HUGE!!! I had no idea, we had awesome seats, Thanks to my DAD. We enjoyed a famous DODGER DOG and some CrackerJacks, we had to it's tradition right!!
Before the Game started.

Random pics of the game!!

Calvins favorite player!! He played for the OTHER team.... trader he is. (notice he is the
only one without a Dodgers hat)

After the game we hung around for awhile, not wanting to go back!
This was a sign up on the hillside it was all lite up and looked neat.
We had an amazing time it was a quick trip but
lot's of FUN. It is a rare occasion when we get to go with my Dad and Mom and NO KIDS, so we laughed and had lots of great visits. Calvin and I could not
believe how easy it was to fly and travel with no little ones, it saves a lot of time and you get places much quicker. We missed them greatly but know they are in great hands with their Aunt MEGGIE, thank you so much for watching the girls, they have just as much fun as we do. Thanks MOM & DAD for letting us come along with you. We had tons of FUN!!!!
