This One's for you Cori !!

This weekend I stopped by Cori's and she told me that she put my blog as a link so I guess I needed to get started. That's what I get for commenting. I really do like to look and see what is going on with family and friends, not to mention all the other people you come across. So I think it's only fair to do my own.

So Cori gave me a great idea for my first post. Thanks for the help Cori.
OUR WEEKEND PROJECTS !!

*First the Girls project: Have Fun!!

The girls were so excited and wanted to get wet, so we got out the water table, it's amazing how such a silly thing can entertain them for hours.

*Then my project: Plant Garden

Before:During:

After:
We will see what and if this produces much but we had fun doing it and it looks much better than the weed patch.

*Now Calvins Project: Suprise ?
He informed me that he had something he wanted to do just stay back and let him finish.... no comments from the peanut gallary a.k.a me.
So we let him be and this is what he came up with.
Before:

During:After:
Well needless to say but his project was a hit, the girls had wanted a swing set for a long time (so has MOM). When he came home with this on Saturday night I finally got a clue as to what he was up to. So we stayed away most of the day sunday so he could get some of it done, the girls had no idea so when we got home they were thrilled. He likes to do things his own way and it always turns out great. I will post more pics of the kids playing but it is a little cold today.

Thanks Cal!!! We LOVE it.

Oh my gosh! I'm a STAR! It looks awesome. Shaun would love for me to plant a garden, but I can barely keep up on yard work - let alone - a garden. CALVIN - you're a stud. Shaun would tell you that the swing set was a total waste of money, you should have bought a horse. I disagree, the girls are still young enough to enjoy it.

Okay - now I am expecting a posting at least once per week. Keep your camera on you at all times.

Hey McKenzie! I'm glad you started a blog. It's pretty much the only way I keep in touch with people these days. My last post was about our garden too, although we only have room enough for four plants. :) We still love it.
